Mendel University in Brno warmly invites you to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Actual Problems and Adaptive Forest Measures in Forestry (BIP), hosted by the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies. This unique programme combines short-term mobility for both online and physical components. The face-to-face session is scheduled from April 27 to May 1, 2026, while the online session will be held on April 21 and April 22, 2026.

What can you expect?
This summer school introduces key challenges facing forests under climate change and focuses on adaptive and preventive forestry measures. Participants will gain insight into sustainable forest management, forest regeneration, and resilience-building strategies, combining theory with practical case studies.
The program links current scientific knowledge with real-life examples from the University Forest Enterprise, helping participants understand how resilient forests can be designed and managed in a changing environment.
