Panel discussion about European University Alliances
We are excited to announce a panel discussion on European University Alliances, exploring the diverse models, programs, and objectives prevalent within these consortia. The event will shed light on the varying focus areas such as research themes, student mobility, joint programs, and the aspiration for a unified European Campus. Notably, the discussion will consider how universities, as recognized knowledge powerhouses, can actively engage with local communities and align with European strategies to drive resilience and contribute to societal challenges, especially in connection to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Furthermore, the event will delve into the newly opened 2024 Erasmus+ European Universities call, which aims to expand the initiative to at least 60 European Universities alliances, fostering transnational cooperation and encouraging a collaborative environment through the establishment of a Community of Practice for European Universities alliances. Join us in exploring replicable approaches to addressing these pivotal challenges and making a meaningful impact on our educational and research ecosystems.
The panel will be moderated by Daniel Casten, facilitating a comprehensive and insightful discussion on European University Alliances and their various aspects. The panel guests will be representatives from successful Czech universities with expertise in consortium management and successful proposal preparation.
Mariana Tesařová will represent the EULiST alliance
Violeta Osouchová will represent the EDUC alliance
Kamila Danihelková will represent the NEOLAiA alliance
