Call for Applications for Blended Intensive Programme "It´s Coffee Time - Next-gen Cofeehouse Experience" in Austria

The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the University of Applied Sciences for Management & Communication in Vienna (Austria). The topic of the program is It´s Coffee Time – Next-gen Cofeehouse Experience. The programme explores how traditional Viennese coffeehouse culture can be reimagined for the future through phygital experience design.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from May 4 to 8, 2026. The virtual part will take place on April 20, 2026. You will earn 3 ECTS credits for the BIP.

Application Requirements

The application process will run from April 2 to 12, 2026, and includes the following:

  • A motivation letter
  • Indication of whether this is your first international experience
  • Oral language examination in English (to be held from April 13 to 15, 2026)
  • Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
