Call for Applications for Blended Intensive Programme "Summer School of Good Stories: Literary, Film and Wine Tourism"

The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Faculty of Horticulture (FH) students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the University of Maribor in Březnice (Slovenia). The topic of the program is Summer School of Good Stories: Literary, Film and Wine Tourism. The program focuses on storytelling, film, travel literature, and wine culture right in the heart of this charming local community.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from August 23 to 29, 2026. The virtual part will take place on August 20 and 31, 2026. You will earn 3 ECTS credits for the BIP.

Application Requirements

The application process will run from April 23 to May 12, 2026, and includes the following:

  • A motivation letter
  • Indication of whether this is your first international experience
  • Oral language examination in English (to be held from May 13 to 18, 2026)
  • Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
