The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for MENDELU students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at University College of Northern Denmark (Denmark), one of our partner universities within the HEROES consortium. The program’s topic is “Innovative Student HEROES Vol. 2“. Throughout five inspiring days, you’ll collaborate across cultures, tackle real societal challenges, and learn how to facilitate creative and innovative processes based on Challenge-Based Learning (CBL).

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from November 2 to November 6, 2026. The virtual part will be held before the physical part (to be confirmed). You will earn 3 ECTS credits for the BIP. 

Application Requirements

The application process will run from September 1 to September 13, 2026, and includes the following:

• A motivation letter
• Indication of whether this is your first international experience
• Oral language examination in English (to be held from September 14 to September 18, 2026)
• Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
