The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for Mendel University students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at Fontys University of Applied Sciences (Eindhoven, Netherlands), one of our partner universities within the HEROES consortium. The theme of the program is “Resilience in the Age of Technology – staying true to Human Values”.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from May 18 to May 22, 2026. The virtual part will take place during the week of May 11, 2026 (the exact date will be specified later).

Application Requirements

The application process will run from December 19, 2025, to January 25, 2026, and includes the following:

• A motivation letter
• Indication of whether this is your first international experience
• Oral language examination in English (to be held from January 26 to January 30, 2026)
• Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
