Study stays

  • Confirmation of Erasmus+ Study Period (“Confirmation”), which
    • is a main proof of completion of the study period
    • we recommend getting the Confirmation before departure home
    • the Confirmation must contain the exact dates of stay (scholarship is awarded according to the dates)
    • must be confirmed by the coordinator abroad no earlier than one week before the end of the mobility
    • the student shall submit the ORIGINAL to the DIRI within 14 days of the end of mobility
    • a scan of the Confirmation shall be uploaded by the student to Checklists in the UIS
    • in case the length of the stay is shorter or longer in comparison with the period set out in the GA, the accounting of the scholarship must be made and a signature of the Amendment to the GA must be arranged with the DIRI officer for Erasmus+ study stays
    • the student may use the MENDELU form
  • Transcript of Records
    • shall be uploaded into Checklists no later than within 4 weeks of the end of mobility
    • the ToR must correspond to the LA or, as the case may be, to the Changes in the names of subjects and their credit values (eventually in codes if the receiving university uses them)
    • the student may use the MENDELU form
  • the result of the final OLS test shall be uploaded into Checklists (UIS)

  • in case the student fails to obtain the required 18 credits (minimum) in the specialized subjects, he/she is obliged to return a proportionate part of the scholarship
  • in case the student breached the Qualification Conditions of the Erasmus+ Programme he/she is obliged to return a proportionate part or the entire amount of the scholarship
  • if the student fails to deliver the required documents by the deadline set by the sending institution, fails to take the compulsory on-line language test before and after the mobility and/or fails to fill in the final report (EU-Survey), he/she shall return the financial support in full
  • the amount of the refund shall be specified by the DIRI officer for Erasmus+ study stays

 Qualification Conditions

Internship placements

  1. To deliver the Traineeship Certificate to the Department of International Relations and Internationalization (ORIGINAL confirmed by the traineeship provider no earlier than a week before the termination) within 14 days of the end of the traineeship.
  2. In case the duration of the traineeship differs from the duration stated in the Grant Agreement by more than 5 days, an Amendment to the Grant Agreement is concluded (Tereza Formáčková, tereza.formačkova@mendelu.cz, tel. 545 135 150).
  3. To deliver a printed copy of the print screen with the results of final on-line evaluation of the working language knowledge with the student’s name, within 30 days of the end of the traineeship. Students who fail to submit the print screen with the results of final on-line language test shall return the financial support in full.    
  4. To fill in the Final Report in the UIS and European database (EU Survey) within 30 calendar days of receiving the login.
  5. To return the unused financial support, if:
  6. the student did not comply with the length of the traineeship stated in the Grant Agreement;
  7. the student did not meet the terms of the Traineeship Agreement;
  8. the student breached the Erasmus+ qualification conditions.
  • In accordance with the Directive on recognition of results of study and traineeships abroad within Erasmus+, the student is obliged to submit an application for recognition of traineeship results to the person who is in charge at the University. This obligation has to be met within 7 days of the end of the traineeship.  
  • The respective home faculties decide on recognition of credits and subjects.
  • Please consult the international relations officer of your faculty and your Registrar’s Department on the recognition procedure.

If the student fails to comply with the minimal duration of the traineeship, i.e. 2 months, he/she shall return the financial support in full.

If the student fails to deliver the required documents by the deadline set by the sending institution, fails to take the compulsory on-line language test before and after the mobility and/or fails to fill in the Final Report (EU Survey), he/she shall return the financial support in full.

Erasmus+ credit mobility

  • You have to fill in the EU Survey Final Report in the European Mobility Tool+ database, after the end of your stay you will receive an e-mail inviting you to fill in the report, ATTENTION! the submission of the final report is a condition for drawing the Erasmus+ financial contribution.
  • In case of an SMS stay, you will deliver a Confirmation of study period to IRO, which will be issued and confirmed by the host organization before your departure. Remember that the confirmation must contain name of the participant and the date of start and completion of your study.
  • You must deliver this confirmation to IRO within 15 days of the end of the study stay.
  • ATTENTION! confirmation must not be older than 5 days before the end of the stay!
  • You must also provide us with a Transcript of Records for SMS and a Traineeship Certificate for SMP issued and confirmed by the host organization containing name of the participant and the results of your study/internship.
  • If you are a doctoral student, you will provide a Supervisor’s Certificate describing the content of the study during your study stay. You will deliver this confirmation to IRO within 1 month from the end of the study stay.
  • You will need to return the travel insurance card to the cash desk of the Economics Department.
  • Also fill in a personal report from your stay at a partner university, in the form of a questionnaire.
  • At the faculty, you must ensure the recognition of completed courses.
  • Remember that recognition of a pre-approved study plan is a condition of the Erasmus+ program.
  • You muapply for recognition even if you do not lack credits for graduating from MENDELU!

Bilateral agreements

Study stays

Upon the return from abroad, the student is obliged to:

  • submit to the IRO Confirmation of study stay period from the partner university with dates of beginning and end of the study abroad. Original goes to the university IRO, copy to the Faculty.
  • submit to the IRO Transcript of Records – subjects completed and exams passed (should correspond to the Learning Agreement or Changes to Learning Agreement). Original goes to the Faculty, copy to the universityIRO.
  • fill in a Final Report in the UIS and upload missing documents into the checklist.

Should the student fail to complete the study, to pass the prescribed number of exams or to meet other terms set out in the Financial Agreement, MENDELU may claim the refund of a part or the whole scholarship.

Traineeship

Upon the return from abroad, the student is obliged to:
