The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for master’s and doctoral students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), which is one of our partner universities within the HEROES consortium. The program’s topic is “Game Changers: Igniting Global Innovation”. The program focuses on real‑world challenges in renewable energy, sustainability, and the bioeconomy, fostering international collaboration and meaningful knowledge exchange.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from September 22 to September 26, 2026. The virtual part will consist of five sessions—three before and two after the physical part (to be specified). You will earn 3 ECTS credits for the BIP. 

Application Requirements

The application process will run from June 18 to July 12, 2026, and includes the following:

• A motivation letter
• Indication of whether this is your first international experience
• Oral language examination in English (to be held from July 13 to July 17, 2026)
• Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
