The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for students from the Faculty of AgriSciences (FA) to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, Portugal (Beja). PI of Beja is one of our partner universities within the HEROES consortium. The theme of the program is “New Challenges in Livestock Production under Mediterranean climate conditions”.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from April 13 to 17, 2026. The virtual part will take place before April 2026, with the exact date to be specified..

Application Requirements

The application process will run from October 2 to November 17, 2025, and includes the following:

• A motivation letter
• Indication of whether this is your first international experience
• Oral language examination in English (to be held from November 18 to 24, 2025)
• Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.

The program is open only to bachelor’s degree students!
