Call for Applications for Blended Intensive Programme "Transforming Healthcare with AI" in Deggendorf

The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for students of the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (Germany), which is one of our partner universities within the HEROES consortium. The program’s topic is “Transforming Healthcare with AI: Bridging Knowledge, Practical Applications, and Adoption“. This programme aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of AI and Machine Learning in healthcare, covering everything from technical fundamentals and practical applications to ethical considerations, regulatory requirements, and user-centric deployment.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from November 9 to November 13, 2026. The virtual part will be held on November 2 and November 3, 2026. You will earn 4 ECTS credits for the BIP. 

Application Requirements

The application process will run from July 1 to July 26, 2026, and includes the following:

  • A motivation letter
  • Indication of whether this is your first international experience
  • Oral language examination in English (to be held from July 27 to July 31, 2026)
  • Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
