The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for the Faculty of AgriSciences (FA) students to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) at the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies (Jelgava, Latvia). The topic of the program is “From Abundance to Water Scarcity: Climate Variability and Anthropogenic Risks”.

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The physical part will take place from May 25 to 29, 2026. The virtual part will take place from May 11 to 22, 2026.

Application Requirements

The application process will run from March 18 to April 5, 2026, and includes the following:

• A motivation letter
• Indication of whether this is your first international experience
• Oral language examination in English (to be held from April 6 to 10, 2026)
• Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a daily grant of 79 EUR and travel expenses.
