Call for Applications for "challenge based" Blended Intensive Programme organised by Thomas More, FONTYS and Miele

The International Relations Office of Mendel University in Brno is pleased to announce a call for applications for students from the Faculty of Business and Economics (FBE) and the Faculty of Regional Development and International Studies (FRDIS) to participate in the Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) organised within the HEROES consortium by partner institutions Thomas More, FONTYS and Miele in Antwerp (Belgium). The programme focuses directly on Miele’s challenge: „How can Miele optimise their retail brand presence, specific in the hoover sector?“

What is a Blended Intensive Programme (BIP)?

The BIP represents a new form of mobility combining virtual and physical learning. The virtual sessions will take place on September 29, 2025, while the physical mobility will occur at the Thomas More Campus in Antwerp from October 5 to October 10, 2025.

Application Requirements

The application process will run from July 26 to August 20, 2025, and includes the following:

  • A motivation letter
  • Indication of whether this is your first international mobility
  • Oral language examination in English (to be held from August 21 to August 29, 2025)
  • Evaluation of the relevance of your study program to the BIP theme

Financial Support and Additional Conditions

Participants will receive a grant of 79 EUR per day and travel expenses.

The program is open to all students (Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels of studies).
